Endodontics is the science of treating problems that involve the tissue inside the tooth. This internal tissue, blood vessels and connective tissue is called the “pulp.” When this tissue or the tissue surrounding the tooth root is diseased or damaged due to trauma, endodontic treatment can save the tooth. |
